A wise man once said "The unexamined life is not worth living". This saying is attributed to Socrates who, according to Plato, said it at his trial for impiety and corrupting the youth.
Whether the attribution is accurate, it is a wise thing to live by. Success in life depends on looking at the results your actions have generated, and considering whether those results are what you really want to achieve.
If they are, then more of the same is in order. If not, make an adjustment.
